Awesome God!

"...let all the inhabitants of the world stand in
awe of him."
Psalm 33:8

Rather than a reading devotion, make this an action devotion to take time to praise God for His greatness...
The Lord's brightest and most plentiful fireworks show is this weekend...The Perseid Meteor Showers are peaking in the Northern hemispehere between now and Sunday evening/Monday morning.   There will be 'shooting stars'  each night through August 12th (about 60 per hour).

It's a better viewing if you can get away from city lights of course, but even in the city the meteorites can be seen.

Where to Look:  The  Northeastern sky  between 10:30 pm to 4:30 a.m.   The meteorites originate from the constellation of Perseus.   Around 10:30 they will be lower on the horizon.  As the night progresses they will be higher in the North Eastern sky.

Enjoy the show and remember to praise his name,
1O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?   (Psalm 8:1, 3-4)

God Bless your night and day,
Laura
